Train from the comfort of your home. Convenient, accessible, and just as effective as in person training.
Details: Sessions are one hour. We can discuss anything besides sport dog training. We will make a training plan and I will assign homework. You will send me videos of your progress between sessions. Frequency of lessons is flexible, but most people do every 1-2 weeks. Lessons must be paid before the lesson begins. You will get access to a Facebook support group where there will be training tips, videos, resources, and fun training challenges.
PRIVATE LESSONS
Phone Consultations: FREE - You must schedule a date and time to have a phone consultation
In Home Evaluations: $60 - Price of evaluation will be credited towards a program if it is purchased.
Individual Private Lessons: $100 - Please note that all equipment will need to be purchased separately. Private lessons are conducted in home, at a dog friendly park, or at a dog friendly store. Please remember that you will not see progress with one or two private lessons.
LESSON PROGRAMS
Puppy Program(for dogs under 6 months): Teaches you how to train and handle your puppy to set them up for success in the future. Gives your puppy a solid foundation, and helps them grow into a confident, well rounded dog. Your puppy will learn basic commands, manners, and life skills. Completely customized training plan to you and your dog.

Basic Program: Teaches dogs basic obedience, manners, and life skills for a healthier coexistence in the home. Dogs will learn how to walk calmly on a leash, listen to commands when told the first time, and how to act calmly inside the home. This program has a flexible outline that can be fully customized to you and your dog. So you don't pay for training you don't need.

Dog will learn how to walk calmly on a leash, listen to commands when told the first time, and behave calmly in AND out of the house. Dogs will become members of the family you are confident to take out in public. This program has a flexible outline that can be fully customized to you and your dog. So you don't pay for training you don't need.

•8-10 weekly in home and in public private lessons
• Crate Training/ House Breaking help if necessary
• Obedience Commands

Off Leash Program: Teaches dogs basic and advanced obedience, manners, and life skills. Dogs will learn how to walk calmly on a leash, listen to commands when told the first time, and behave calmly in AND out of the house. Dogs will learn how to heel, listen to obedience commands, and recall off leash. This program has a flexible outline that can be fully customized to you and your dog. So you don't pay for training you don't need.

• 12-16 weekly in home and in public private lessons
•Crate Training/ House Breaking help if necessary
• Obedience Commands
• Stop play biting, chewing, jumping/chasing animals/digging
• Door, greeting, crate, community, off leash manners

Behavior Modification Program: Teaches dogs basic and advanced obedience, manners, and life skills. Dogs will learn how to walk calmly on a leash, listen to commands when told the first time, and behave calmly in AND out of the house. This program is for dogs who struggle with separation anxiety, resource guarding, reactivity, aggression, and extreme fearfulness. This program has a flexible outline that can be fully customized to you and your dog. So you don't pay for training you don't need.

• 16 weekly in home and in public private lessons

SERVICE DOG TRAINING
Gillian's K9 Academy LLC specializes in training service dogs for mental illnesses and disorders such as PTSD, depression, anxiety, and autism. We also train dogs for mobility issues, and other conditions like POTS, ehlers-danlos syndrome, and dysautonomia. A training log to prove hours of training AND certificate of training completion will be provided.
Service dogs are dogs that are tasked trained to assist an individual with a disability. Emotional Support animals are not service animals. Please reach out to me for more information on this training.
Dogs must be temperament tested and evaluated by me before training for service work can begin(UNLESS you are a virtual client).
